Buddies United Giving Support

In Ysgol Emmanuel we care about our peers and believe everybody has the right to feel happy and safe during the school day. This is why we run a buddy system.

Our buddies are easy to spot in their bright yellow sports caps! They are responsible for a number of tasks from monitoring the corridors, creating or organising playground games, helping to sort out playground disputes by encouraging our younger pupils to share.

The buddies also serve as a friendly face when children feel lonely, they are here to help and are role models to our other pupils.
