School Council

Right to vote week

Our Current Projects

*Gareth Davies AM visited us and we asked him lots of questions about the Senedd.

*We invited PCSO Jill Jones and Gareth Davies AM to discuss the ongoing traffic and safety concerns outside our school.

*We have been working in partnership with our PCSO on the the traffic issues. We applied for a small grant for traffic cones for outside our school to help prevent people parking in places that they should not be!

*During Welcome to Your Vote Week’s the theme was ‘our democracy’. A member of the Welsh Government Senedd came in and held workshops. We worked in small groups on our own manifestos. We also enjoyed a visit from Gareth Davies AM who was asked lots of questions by the children in relation to democracy and why it is important to vote.

*We have launched an Anti- Fouling poster competition in school. The posters will be judges by Ms Jones and senior members of the council. The posters will then be sent off to our local printers to be made into banners to be displayed outside our school.
