  Maths Week

  Letters were sent home earlier this week explaining that the first week back after half term we will be celebrating all things Mathematical.

  Parents/Carers are invited to join their children in class for some

  numeracy fun and outside for our Maths workshop. Also Thursday 7th November is our Maths open afternoon. Everybody is welcome to join us in viewing their child’s work in the main hall from 1:30pm.

  This week our school reading dog,

  Tilly, officially became a member of staff! Croeso Tilly! She has spent the whole week interacting with the children and listening to the children reading. The presence of the dog helps to keep the children feeling relaxed. The purpose of reading dogs is to

  lessen stress in the classroom and increase their ability to learn key skills.
