  • Year 5 & 6 Sports Day

    A lovely day had by all at our year 5 & 6 sports day. We were very fortunate that the weather held up throughout the afternoon! Our year 6 pupils enjoyed their last ever sports day with us. Well done to the team house MELYD for winning sports day for the second year in a row! Who will win next year?

    Once again we were blessed with beautiful weather yesterday for our Year 3 & 4 sports day. We were so proud of the enthusiasm and dedication of our pupils and the sportsmanship showed by them all. A big thank you to all the parents/carers and family members who came and supported!

    A wonderful afternoon had by all in the sunshine for our year 1 and 2 sports day. We are so proud of our all our pupils!

    What a fantastic day we are having so far with Sports day for Reception and Nursery. We would like to thank all parents for their support, it meant a lot to both your children and staff! A special well done to all our wonderful pupils who participated in Sports day today, you are all winners in our eyes and we are all very proud of you!

  • Cooking on a Budget for parents

    We have been having lots of fun on our Cooking on Budget course with thanks to Communities First. Six of our parents have been making delicious, nutritious food on a budget in our pupil kitchen. Parents have made the following food: Spicy fried bean, cheese and vegetable wrap, Spicy vegtable pasta, chicken risotto and leek and potato soup! All delicious!

     

    Our parents did a total of 4 cooking sessions with Pat from Communities First, making a variety of delicious and healthy meals on a budget. On the last session parents were told that they would be receiving a FREE slow cooker! A big thank you once again to Communities First, especially Katie and Pat! :-)

  • Sports Day COMING SOON!

    A reminder to all of our parents and carers that we will be having our annual school Sports Day on:

     

    Tuesday: 23rd May - 9:30am Nursery & Reception

                                       1:15pm Year 1 & 2

     

    Wednesday: 24th May - 9:30am Year 3 & 4

                                            1:15pm Year 5 & 6

     

    All parents/carers and other family members are invited to come and support their children's involvement in sports day. Everyone of our pupils is a winner!

     

    *Sports day will be weather dependant, if we are blessed with warm weather please do not forget to apply sun cream on your child BEFORE school. If we have rain we may have to cancel sports day to a later date (either Thursday 25th or Friday 26th May)*
